Received NOA1 today

Got the NOA1 today .. so exciting

but my name is incorrect

looking at my copies of the I-129F .. I put my name incorrectly in Part A line 1 .. I put my name.. first name, middle name, last name

everywhere else I put my name correctly *sigh*

I'm such a DITZ .. i'm on the line waiting for USCIS to pick up .. on the phone for 30 min's

I hope I can change this over the phone

at least this is a semi happy post..

I know someone that had same thing happen. He called them and got it changed no problem. Get it done now as it did delay him because he didnt catch it at first (good lesson in why you should always really read what they send you).

they spelled my name wrong on the NOA1... my fiance called the USCIS to tell them that my name was spelled incorrect. they told him not to worry bout it. we got told that my name will be changed at the consulate in frankfurt as soon as my petition arrives there....

I was on the phone actually as I wrote that post earlier lol .. and after being on hold for almost 40 min's.. ( I was not hanging up lol) I got thru to someone and they did change my name and I got a confirmation number.. and hopefully will be notified of the changes soon..
