Has anybody had any luck in rescheduling a biometrics appointment.

We just received the letter with the date but my wife will be out of town on business.

The only way to reschedule is to mail this letter in and request a new date.

But I am extremely nervous about falling through the cracks or having the process be delayed indefinitely.

Has anyone successfully rescheduled and how long after there original date was the new rescheduled date?

Please anyone out there, help!!!

This question has been asked many times. I did a simple search on VJ: Rescheduloing a biometrics search.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

Some ASC offices do accept walk-ins, some don't. I mean much earlier than your scheduled App. date. Some ASC do take you in on the same day with your App. but might be different time. Everything depends on how busy they are.

In brief, you can say Time & Day might be flexible depending on the particular ASC.

Btw, RESCHEDULING ANY APPOINTMENT WITH USCIS OR CHANGING AN ADDRESS DURING AOS PROCEDURE ARE NOT ADVISABLE, THAT MESSES UP THEM BIG TIME !......

They don't care because you have to suffer the consequences.
