Is it proper to include your western union receipts for the additional evedinces to bring along with your docs for the USEM interview?

Any advice is highly appreciated. Thank you!

My advisor says yes but that may be China-specific. I will include them with our evidence. Others here say no because it may look like you are buying your spouse. I think if the amounts are not huge (setting off red flags) then you may have no problem.

Good Luck on your VISA Journey!

So far so good, NOA2 in 91 days. We contracted an experienced advisor who is on the ground in China to help out because people on websites didn't have much China-specific experience in this area including your CFL. This person has 98% success on over 1K cases.

I didn't say anything absolute as you did. There is not a single rule that is absolute.

Good luck to you on your journey.

China (perhaps) aside, HelloWorld's advice is extremely sound. Interviewees should have plenty of evidence that will NOT risk raising red flags, as Western Union receipts will. And, endoftheroad, supercilious comments such as yours above can very well "mark" you on here as someone whose advice should be dismissed, or at least taken with many grains of salt. Please consider this before firing off replies. Edited by TBoneTX

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

My advice was to consider it, dismiss it if you want, no skin off my nose. My advisor (who has a lot more experience than anyone in this thread AFAIK) said that in my case it was fine. Don't understand why that is distainful. ???

you may or may not include it it's up to you...if you have plenty of other evidences and you don't feel comfortable submitting the receipts then you don't have to.

Exactly. No hard and fast rule against or for it to be included. Sorry if that is "supercilious" or repetitive from what I already said.
