Date of I-751 = The Date you sent your application

NOA Date = The Receipt Date on your original NOA letter

Biometrics = The Date of your biometrics appointment

Curious, how are you able to get a NOA1 within one day of your application being mailed off? The check has cleared for me, but in typical USCIS fashion they wrote right in the center of the border of the check and you cannot even see or read several of the numbers or characters of the case number in order to check status online. Oh well guess will have to wait on the letter in mail, at least I know they have it and it is in the system since last week, but still do not have NOA1 letter or any email from USCIS confirming this so just curious how I see some people getting email notice or NOA1 in like one day after filing? What is the trick or secret?

The date is the reciept date on your NOA. Thats the date they have type this notice.

The number on your check is not to use.

You will have to wait for your BIO appointment in order to get your case number and check online. The number on your NOA doesn't work to check your case.

I wouldn't be freaking out, zqt. Look at the above grid - there are others who filed right around the same time as you who also don't have NOA1.

If you were the ONLY one w/out it, then I might start to wonder.

How long does it take them to cash the check anyway? So if see my check cashed, is that a good indication that my application looks OK and ready to be processed, NOA1 sent?

When your check is cashed they have opened your case and you will soon get your NOA1 in the mail.

Its first after your BIO appointment is done they will start looking at your case and type to you if they need more from you.

check will be cashed in only a few days

Thanks, good to know, just to clarify,

Cashed check means->I-751 form completed and signed correctly and sending NOA1

BIO means -> Case status available online and evidence will be reviewed once BIO is done.?

Please add me. We filed on on August 25th and it was recieved on August 26th. I see some fellow K-1/canadian group folks from when we applied way back. Good to see you.

We also filed at VSC.
