WOW hunny, Im so sorry. Thats such BS. I was under the impression that they give out an interim if it went outside 90 days..no problem :protest:

I was wondering where you were. I hope everything else is good babe

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Hi everyone!

Please text me when all of you are online..

Seren, congrats!

CnT, hope EAD would arrive soon..

Do you think that being a debt specialist would be a good career???

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

Just checking in - sorry it's been sooo long! Congrats Seren! Any news CnT?

As for us, life is busy right now. Diego is in school from 9 - 3 and then working from 6 - 10 during the week. He got his license last week. I'm still working on getting my mom's old car registered, so he can drive it. For now we're sharing my company car (nice benefit that spouses are permitted to drive the company car). It's the last month of the fiscal year for my company so I'm doing my best to work miracles. haha. Can't remember if I told y'all that my company is being bought out. Nothing will happen for another 4 - 8 months, so I'm not freaking out yet. It could be a good excuse to move back to the South.

Hope everyone is doing well! :star:

MOVE TO MY AREA SO WE CAN HANG OUT. you know this area, right???????

We can meet Wendy in Atlantic City and win so big money !! LOL

hey guys, I got the approval email for hubby's ead today :D

I had to go to USCIS office, then got impatient and called customer service today...the guy told me I would hear something in 5 days, but I just checked my email and there it was! yay!

Question - how long after the EAD did your husbands wait for the social security number? We filled out the form saying we wanted one issued, but I'm not sure if we still have to take the ead card to the office and get a social on our own, or if one will be coming in the mail?

Oh, one more question...how much time before your second anniversary are you planning to adjust status? Ours is in February (just a couple weeks after you Lisa :D ) It says that they are taking 6 months to do the aos...I'm betting it will take longer for mena men. What do you think? Do you think November/December is too early? I don't want to be bothered with lifting conditions. Or do you think it goes from the time you file and not the time it gets approved? In which case we would want to wait till after our second anniversary???

first, its about time!!!! you need to wait until you have the ead card in hand to make the SS application hun.

It's the time you get approved. I think we'll file around Jan or Feb, our anniversary is in Jan and that will give us a breath after all of the christmas shopping :innocent:

Its probably smarter just to wait until after your 2 yrs..just to be safe. They have everything they need anyway(EAD, SS#)

We'll go thru that journey together too ;):luv:

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, i know..its already wed :P Well, I took off Monday and we went to get Y's permit and they told us we needed a "blue letter" which is obtained at another office across town. We went and got the blue letter(which just states that he is legal in the US and can obtain a DL or permit) but we didnt have enough time to go back and take the permit test by that time. He's going to have a friend take him sometime next week and get it.. I think I was more dissapointed than he was lol

We did enjoy my Monday off though :D

I hope all is well in k3 family land for everyone :jest:

Yes, Yes. It's with the same Old Company only now in California. luckily for me a position opened up in late August and I was able to apply for it. Similar job, a lil senior position :)
