A Japanese designer used an amazing android to model a wedding dress at her fashion show this week.

Yumi Katsura had HRP-4C humanoid bot Miim show off one of her designs during the 2009 Yumi Katsura Paris Grand Collection in Osaka, Japan.

The 5ft 2in robot wowed the audience as she walked down the runway and cast sidelong glances at them like her flesh and bone colleagues.

Miim's developer Kazuhito Yokoi later revealed his dreams for the robo-model, saying: "We hope she can work in fashion and entertainment."

Miim was created at Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology and it is clear that Mr Yokoi has grown attached to the robot bride.

He revealed of the bot's catwalk outing: "Like the father of the bride, I feel both happy and sad."

I like the bit about him hoping 'she can work in fashion and entertainment'. I can imagine what type of 'entertainment' might be most profitable

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).
