Help me

Okay, so I had my medical appointment today in Vancouver. I thought it went well at first, but it turns out there is a mass in my x ray. They have apparently enclosed a letter in my little envelope discussing it. When the lady was telling me about my mind started freaking out and I kind of stopped listening to what she was saying. Long story short, I want to know if I can open the envelope and see what it says..is this against the rules? I can't remember

u can ask the doctor and call them and see what they say

Yeah they did. Thank you for letting me know its semi-normal..I've been sitting here freaking out for the past few hours.

hey just remember it was not that bad bcz they did not tell u otherwise they would have never gave u the result.

it is something minor and u can just cure it when u come here. just relax and good luck n best wishes

did she actually say " mass " b/c if you have had pnumonia before it could just be scar tissue, same for bronchitis...

If you're super worried maybe you should make an appt with your regular doctor to discuss and he/she can check it out...

That's what I would do too.

Did the Dr. say anything about it affecting your visa eligibility?

Yes the term mass was used lol I've decided its probably walking pneumonia or something like that. I'm going to talk to my doctor when I get back to Winnipeg.

I am sure that it is something that is treatable and nothing that will be a problem in the future.

Call the Dr. immediately. How DARE they put something like that on any paper but not speak to you about it. Ask them EXACTLY what they mean by that, and what the heck is on the paper that's in the envelope. This is about YOUR health, and you have every right to know what the heck that means.

I can only surmise that it's not a big issue at all or they'd have informed you,and talked to you about it, but GEEZE, the NERVE!

I hope everything is ok for you, and that your interview goes well! The assistant takes everything, so you *may* get an idea of what's going on when he sees it. Just be well prepared with all of your information, and smile!! The more preparation, and confidence you display the better.

I completely agree Carla.. my medical physician said emphatically that he would let me know if any of the test results/etc. came back with any issues.. the nerve..
