I just got the NOA2 form in the mail and it says it is valid from 6/30 to 10/30. I just wanted to confirm this has nothing to do with how the dates of the actual visa (assuming we get that) and when she has to enter the US by, correct? From what i've read that is supposed to be 6 months from the date the visa is issued??

My fiance's sister is getting married now later in the year (it was supposed to be soon) and may wait until then to enter the US.

The NOA2 date has nothing to do with the visa dates. Usually the interview held at the Consulate or Embassy is before the second date you posted. That's how long the application is valid for. After you've been interviewed, and your visa is issued, your fiance will have 6 months from the date of issuance of the visa to come to the U.S.
