Hi, I mailed in my I 129F package. my birth certificate is a certified copy with only the front. I never had a back copy of the certificate. I have only ever had this certified copy of the front.

Do you think this will be a problem? Can I mail in a copy of my passport now that I already sent the rest of the stuff??

thanks

The instructions for the I-129F do say to send a copy of both front and back. Many times there isn't anything on the back of the certified copy, so most people just make a copy of the blank back side and include it.

Anyway, there's nothing you can do now. If you get an RFE then send a copy of the back, even if it's blank.

Did you travel to meet your fiance(e)? If so, it probably would have been a good idea to include a copy of your passport anyway. Visa stamps in your passport are good primary evidence of having met your fiance(e).
