Hi, I am currently filing AOS for myself and my daughter also. What I understand is that you need to submit copies of all forms for your child too, even I-765 to help them get a social security number.

I do have a question that the folks at USCIS couldn't answer and I have googled it on here too but it didn't help me in my case:

My daughter is here on a K2, on her visa she does not have an A#, where it should be it says 'K-2 P.A my name'

Now, on her forms, where it asks for an A# do I put mine, or 'NONE' or something else? Thanks

I am not an expert on the I-485,but I too submitted the K-1 and K-2 I-485 forms. On the I-94 paper(white small document they recieved when they entered US)they put the same A# on both the K-1 and K-2 I-94 document.

In filling out the I-485 I used the same A# for both K-1 and K-2 I-485. Since you have to submit copies of the I-94,I figured they could see that the immigration officer put the same A# on the I-94. K-1 has been approved awaiting GC,and K-2 is scheduled for interview.

A# for K-2 is "NONE" because one has not yet been assigned.

YMMV
