From the reports of her sister and ex-boyfriend the dead girlfriend was under the impression that McNair was divorcing his Wife and the girlfriend was sweet and innocent and would never do something like this. She was very happy, would never hurt a fly, and had the whole world ahead of her and he seemed happy with her too. However there is no divorce filed on record. He was found with 4 bullets in him and she had one and the gun was found under her. That's 1 bullet to kill him and 1 to kill her and 3 more in him to cover it up and frame the dead girlfriend for a murder suicide.

The wife and mother of three is reported to be distraught right now and had no idea about the girlfriend.

My hunch is the Wife or someone around her found out and had them both killed to make it look like a murder suicide. She had the motive and the most to gain. Does she have a brother? The only other person I can think of is the secret girlfriends ex-boyfriend but he's been cooperative with the police with nothing to hide and saying the ex-girlfriend didn't deserve this. I don't think he did it as it was already over with them before it started with the football star.

Then of course there is always the wild card option of some crazy McNair stalker who got insanely Amy Fisher jealous because they weren't the McNair significant other.

I think what happened was she was obbsessed with him and really believed he was going to divorce his wife. I think she came to the realization that he wasnt going to leave his wife and she snapped, she was only 20. She was found at his feet with the gun underneath her.

Her character witnesses don't support that evidence and her death hasn't been ruled on yet thus leaving it open for foul play.

The main character witness is her sister and of course she dosent want to think her sister could do something this bad. Foul play hasnt been ruled out but with that said they have no suspects.

The person that knows her the best, her sister, said there is a third person. Her ex-boyfriend said she didn't deserve this thus implying he also believes someone else did it.

the police are not looking for anybody, tells me that the forensic science is there, if there was a third person and they placed the gun under the body there would of been smear marks ect. I think there stopping short of saying it was a murder suicide because they want to make sure they have covered everything.

More reports are coming out now. http://www.madison.com/tct/sports/457299

He took two to the head and two to the chest and she had one to the head. He had a history of DUI's since 2003 and apparently they were both recently stopped together by the same cop that gave him the DUI's in 2003 and 2007 and this time the girlfriend took the DUI for driving. The car they were driving is registered to both of them and her sister says that they had plans to be married and he was getting a divorce. Also there is a 3-4 million dollar mansion for sale in Tennessee that the Realtor won't comment on. The police are investigating all the evidence before labeling the girlfriends death.

The LA Times and New York Times both say:

Aaron added: “Based on the evidence at the scene and based on what we know from witnesses thus far, you can lean certain ways in an investigation, but you can’t be close-minded in an investigation. No possibilities have been ruled out. All scenarios are still on the table.”

Aaron did not say whether the police were leaning toward classifying Kazemi’s death as part of a double homicide or part of a murder-suicide. Aaron said that there was no sign of forced entry into the condominium and that the evidence at the scene was consistent with the gun found there, although the police said they would need to conduct more tests before confirming whether the gunshot wounds had come from that gun. The police said they did not know who owned the gun.

So it could be a murder suicide but investigators don't want to be closed minded about it. The New York Times also says someone else entered the place and found the bodies first and called a friend instead of the police. The friend came over and then the police were called.

There could be somebody else, I am really interested to see how this will play out.

Sorry, I work for the police and find it amusing when people try to speculate on investigations. Wouldn't you actually be the peanut gallery here?
