did anyone watch this show last night? there were a few that i thought kicked butt!!! not sure of their names... will look them up later...

it came on last night @ 8 pm... will come on again tonight @ 9 pm...

QDilly, my sister LOVES the show "So you think you can dance"... i watched it... and enjoyed it too... but am a sucker for any "singing" show... lol

I thought it was a cool show, like you said... it ain't Idol, and it's kinda weird that they dont have a bad ### judge (or person for that matter), the guys from the band and the producer look like they are just in a club hanging out.

I thought some of the girls rocked...

I thought some of the girls rocked...

one of the girls i liked the most is Dilana (?)... she sang the NIRVANA song... my mind is so busy i can't think of the name of the song at the moment... duh!

Ya I watched it last night, I liked it cuz it was kinda of layed back. I just thought that the guys coulda been a little more criticking or something because some of them were way better than others. That one guy, the baseball player guy I thought was horrible. But there were some really good ones. I think the girl who sang the nirvana song and the last guy to sing seem to look and sound like they fit more of the bands profile... maybe its just me ... lol

I watched it a few hours ago... and I think this is more my thing than the pretty boy/girl american idol stuff.

Really thought that the woman who sang Nirvana and the last bloke were easily the best...

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

Covering a Duran Duran is definitely shooting yourself in the foot ! At least go with classics that stand the test of time....

But I only caught a few minutes of last night's show.... who was the chick singing the old Jefferson Airplane song ?

i think she is one of the ones that would fit in with the style of music and appearance that tommy lee and the others are after...

i'm a nirvana fan... and i thought she did good on the lithium song... but i would like to see what else she can sing...
