AOS Filers - July 2009

just my update,my Transferred notice arrived in mail today.

I just did my biometrics ( finally!). It was pretty fast, I was the only person in-there. For those who have piercings on the face or ears, be sure to remove them before the appointment.

maybe they send it to U already....or why dnt U try to call them and ask where is ur bio appointment.....u can call instead of waiting there wondering what happen to ur bio appntment letter...theres no harm on trying ....

Mine,...I checked my mailbox yesterday and I thought ive got a junked mails again I didnt know that 1 of them is my appointment letter cuz my bio letter is soooo sloppy and I checked at the back of the envelop it USCIS and I was like...what did the postman did to my bio letter??(its really sloppy Im glad they didnt lost it and most of the time our mail goes back to the sender )so I started being makulit and i started calling them making sure to get my important mail in the mailbox....

im starting to worry bout my bio appt..until now i havent receive it..

i stopped comparing,its too depressing..

how come others have it even if i filed my AOS a week b4 them..??

im still gonna wait for dis coming week..then if i havent get my bio appt maybe its time to call..

i really hope hindi nawala ung bio appt ko..

they said July is a busy month for USCIS..so maybe im one of those filers they forgot..LOL..

me and cherryred_o4 is still waiting for the bio appt..we both out of the schedule based on the spreadsheet..

it is so depressing..

Just got the e-mail today that our case was transferred to CSC on July 30th.

When I checked on USCIS website for the processing times, it says the last processed I-485 was January 2009. But then it says that the classification for that I-485 was employment based adjustment of status. Does anyone know if this would also pertain to I-485 that were filed based on K-1's? Just curious, because if so, it might me a year before we receive the green card.

A lot of people from April and May 2009 and even a couple from June have already received Green Card production notices, so I doubt it'll be a full year before you get it, but it's always possible!
