Hi Vj's

I am now in US with my USC husband...he wants to file for my daughter who is 19 years old now, she was 17 years old when we got married. So, we are wondering if my husband and my daughter need to fill the G-325A form???

Also, I have another question, I have read that we need to send a copy of my NOA2, but my husband NEVER RECEIVED the mail with this NOA2 hardcopy. Should I send a copy of my passport showing my Visa??? because so far, I am living 3 weeks in US and i have not received SSC nor Green Card neither Welcome letter. I am just waiting, but this Friday i will go to Social security Office to apply in person.

This is what we are going to send:

-I-130 Form

-Daughter's birth certificate

-my marriage certificate

-divorce decrees (mine and my husband)

-G-325A forms signed for my husband and my daughter(8 pages in total)

-Pictures (2)

-copy of my passport showing my Visa

-copy of email showing the letter that USCIS sent to me with my approval notification

What else should we send?? or will we not need some of the items describes above???

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP..

No G-325A needed for step-child's petition. G-325A is only used for spousal visas.

D. A completed and signed Form G-325A, Biographic Information, for you and a Form G-325A for your husband or wife. Except for your name and signature you do not have to repeat on Form G-325A the information given on your Form I-130 petition
http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-130instr.pdf

If you are filing for your husband or wife, did you include:
  • His or her photograph?
  • Your completed Form G-325A?
  • His or her Form G-325A?
http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-130instr.pdf (Page 5)

PROOF of US Citizenship from the US Citizen Step Parent, only the US Citizen can IF the child was under age 18 at time of marriage, if NOT then the child will be waiting a LONG tome for a visa number, based on I-130 filed by LPR.

This is also not needed as your husband is the one who is petitioning her. Get the paperwork sent :) Also do not think the Divorce decree is relevant as it was accecpted since you were able to do the Spousal visa

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?
