Is it right that I can work up to 90 days while waiting for my EAD card to arrived? All I have now is the I-797C Notice of Action.

Thank you everyone for sharing!

Hue

I'm thinking that that is not correct!!!! i believe you have to wait for your card

well, this is a full story to see if there's any solution for me.

I am on F1 visa and currently working at a public library off-campus, because my previous school allows me to work there. My SEVIS (which is known as I-20) will be transferred to a university on July 28th, 2009 and this school doesn't allow me to work off-campus with my F1 visa (of course, they're right. I totally understand).

The received date on My EAD's NOA is 06/24/2009. Do you think my EAD will make it here just on time?

Can I get any EAD temporary stamp after the Biometric interview for EAD? Do you think I would have that option?

Is there any way to keep my job legally?

ok then, is there anyway I can get the EAD faster?

Also, what to do if the receipt number doesn't work when I try to check online?

You will just have to wait it out like the rest of us. They no longer issue temporary or interim EAD cards. You will have to wait, and just be patient.
