Hey SDW... I know, I know it ain't no big thing but holy cow did it ever give me that rush of hope that had been waning.

It made me happy that at least someone is looking at it.

It's funny, I had a dream about USCIS last night, and then badgered my husband to see if he'd call for us and th en we got this touch so I told him we'll wait to call. IF there's a problem, they'll let us know or whatever.

I just feel relief that someone is looking/has looked at our file it's all I wanted. They do their job, I'll do my job which is to wait and such.

Good luck to you too,

sdw...

Only people hear can understand what a touches does, mentioning it to someone that isn't going through this process and they look and you like you have 2 heads.

I am hoping to hear something soon, or another touch nothing since the 9. If not this week my get husband to call next week.

Tell me about it. It's funny, but no one understand this process at all -- they all ask, how come you're not down there yet? Touch? What touch? huh?

But yeah, hope we Canucks can go be with the American boys soon, huh? IT'd be nice to get there for US Thanksgiving but that's a dream and a half...

I'll keep you posted as to our progress, since we're in a very similar boat timewise, visa-wise and beneficiary wise.

Ha!

That WAS the play on words I'd meant...

I also realize it probably means nothing at all but, as I said, it sort of gives me a little hope that things are moving along, albeit slowly.

Good luck to everyone...

Best,

LGG

"Our Wedding Prayer"

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

To work the love into practical things so nothing can divide us

Grant us a Love that grows stronger with each passing year.

We ask for words both kind and loving

and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.

Guide us to overcome every challenge

and keep our dreams pure to each other always.

Dear Lord,we put our marriage into Your hands.Amen

If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them.

Wow!! I wonder how it feels to have " touch"! LOL

NO change here since we got our NOA1,. Come to think of it! It has been three months today!

Well, touch is when you see that there is a change on the date in the" last date updated" column when u check ur case online.

Members correct me if I am wrong!!

When you log onto the USCIS web site to check your case status USCIS case status and create an account if they look at your case or just move the folder this is called a touch as the date will change on the status page. It means they are looking at or moving your case folder. Hope this helps

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?
