hi all, my I-130 and I29f were sent together, (the I29f at the back of the package) to Chicago and would have been received on the 22nd June... so i should hear about the NOA1 in the next couple of weeks i'm guessing. some of you got your NOA1's really quickly!

has anyone else sent the I29f with the I-130? just wondered as it seemed like a good thing to do at the time and i read the instructions over and over and it looked ok to send at the same time. i guess if it wasn't, we just fill it out again (the I29f i mean)

awww...Hang in there! I sent my I-130 on June 13th, priority mail, arrived June 16th at the Chicago lockbox. I didn't actually get the NOA1 in the mail until yesterday even though it was issued on the 19th. Let's hope yours comes soon! It may have already been issued!

I think the typical procedure is to wait for your I-130 NOA1 and send a copy of that along with your I-129f packet to the service center where your I-130 is already at (California or Vermont). Who knows, maybe they will be nice and forward a copy of your NOA1 along with your I-129f petition??

thanks for that. i know that is the way it goes now... i was just probably a bit silly in sending it with the package. geez, i hope they just ignore it and send my first NOA1 back for the i-130.

To all of you who got your NOA1 back I filed mine on June 11 and got it back yesterday. But it said nothing about filing an i-129f. I'm more then a little confused and concerned. Did something go wrong? Should it say something?

Hello to all people that filed there I130 June 2009 timeframe. I know you must be as anxious as I am with this insane process we must go through. I sent our I130 June 1st,2009 via return receipt mail to the Chicago Lockbox and I received our NOA1 June 9th,2009. Now filing the 129f.

I hope you all will keep in touch and at least fill in the timeline options here on VJ.

I have just sent I-130 for my wife on 06/26/2009. I hope this process is swift.....I was thinking about getting a lawyer but then my family said no need and I must admit, had it not been for visajourney.com, I would have been a lost puppy. Thanks to all the members who have shared their experiences to make things understandable for many.

hi, this is kinda off topic but can someone help me? im new here..

I have a tourist visa for the US and i stayed in anaheim CA for 11 months.. right now im applying as a federal skilled worker in CANADA.. the immigration consultant told me that i should get a police and state visa clearance... im staying here in the Philippines right now... how can i get these documents here in the philippines? do i have to go back to the US and file for it? Don't worry, nothing is wrong. You only need to file the I-129f after receiving your I-130 NOA1 if you want to apply for the K-3 visa. Otherwise you will just follow the normal process for the IR-1/CR-1. The I-130 NOA1 doesn't say that you need to file the I-129f.

Hello June K3/K4 filers.

Hope you don't mind if we sit and wait with you guys. My husband filed our I-130s and our I-129F in May 2009. I've tried reaching out to my fellow May 2009 filers, but none seem to be online lately.

So far we have both the NOA1s for the I-130s and the I-129F, and now we are waiting for the NOA2 for the I-129F. Our "last update" on USCIS was in June 3, and has remained there since. Our family is watching and waiting...somewhat anxious.

My husband is currently on vacation, and with us here in the Philippines...we hope that there will be no RFEs while he is here...not that we can think of anything USCIS would want to ask for, really. lol

I wonder if the 5 months the USCIS has posted as the K3 timeline starts at the Notice Date?

Thanks to anyone who writes to us re: the CR1/IR1 process...however, we still feel strongly about being reunited via the K3/K4 process, all our circumstances considered.

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!
