HELP on documents for K1 Interview

Hi everyone.. Been here for a while. Got a lot of tips and found all info really helpful, spared many from spending dollars for legal assistance. Anyway, my interview is coming,it will be next month. I just want to ask about what particular documents that need to be photocopied. We are applying for a K1 Visa.. Just a little confuse though.

01/26/09 : Application Received

04/30/09 : Application Approved

05/04/09 : NOA2 Received

05/23/09 : Letter from embassy Received

07/13/09 : Medical Exam @ St Luke

07/30/09 : Interview Schedule

08/04/09 : Visa Received

12/09/09 : Husband's Arrival in the Philippines

12/19/09 : Pre-nuptial Banquet in the Philippines

01/06/10 : Flight to US with my husband

01/07/10 : US Arrival , Chicago as POE

03/18/10 : Wedding Day!!!! :-)

07/12/10 : Medical Exam by US Civil Surgeon

08/18/10 : Day 1 Sent AOS Package

08/21/10 : Day 3 AOS Package Received by USCIS Chicago LockBox

08/31/10 : Day 13 Check Cashed

09/07/10 : Day 20 Received Biometrics Appointment

09/22/10 : Day 35 Biometrics Schedule

09/23/10 : Day 36 AOS and EAD touched :-)

09/27/10 : Day 40 Received Transfer Notice

10/18/10 : Day 61 EAD Card Production and Travel Document approved

10/25/10 : Day 68 EAD Card Received

11/08/10 : Day 82 PR Card Received Validity 10/25/10-10/25/12 :-)

Unless it specifically asks for originals, everything you send them should be legible copies.

Be prepared to furnish originals though (they may ask for them at a later date).

:guides: is a good place to start.

The K-1 info will tell you what you need to have.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

God bless :) read up on other threads they'll have the listings for what you need for the interview :)

all's you gotta keep in mind is :

you prove ur relationship

finances (employment)

his visit,

his citizenship,

a proof for ur singleness,

paperwork that prove u dnt have probs w the law and ur identity :)

aS long as you organize teh paperwork in those areas, ur good to go ;)

09/09/09-K-1 visa approved

10/24/09 - WEDDING

11/09/09 - AOS

02/25/10-GC approved

08/26/10-319B n400 starts

11-09-10 Interview 10 AM >Approved

11-09-10 oath 2 PM Fairfax, VA
