I-129F, Birth Certificate front and back?????

Hey, i was wondering if someone could help me out here.

I see that it asks you to copy the front and the back of your birth certificate to prove your American, but i only have a front to my birth certificate, any help plz?????

Silly, yes.. my Birth Certificate only had print on the front also. But..... I copied the back and sent in basically a blank page, but i copied it anyhow. I am sure some would disagree but this is the USCIS and I did as they asked.

The back of my BC is blank also but that's what they asked for. So that's what I gave them. No problems here!!

I usually add the words (a one-sided document) when such is the case for a birth certificate. Technically, the back of the photocopy would be identical to the back of a one-sided birth certificate.

my birth cert is only printed on one side but the state seal shows up on the back side if you look very carefuly I think that is why they ask for both sides to see if threre is a seal or not.

Birth certificates vary widely by State. Some have instructions on the back etc. Either copy both sides or make it clear there's only one side to copy.
