Is this the self same Jack Bauer who is the inspiration for a terrible line in camping gear?

I have no idea who he is/was/wannabe though.

Are you confoozling between Jack and Eddie?

Yes. Never heard of the Jack Bauer entity - only thing I could think of was the camping gear - which is ####### :)

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

One of my best friends has watched 24 since it began and loves it and has mentioned it to me on several occasions - but I never got around to watching it. I am cool being uncool though :)

Its very badly written. The concept of the show is that it is shot in realtime (though only if you watch it on TV with commercial breaks - on DVD each episode is 45mins) and they make up the story as they go along - so there are a lot of crazy plot twists, which are ridiculous if you stop to think about it (or if you watch the show on DVD).

Kind of like: "if so and so was a villain all along, then why did he help that guy...".

Prison Break is worse for that stuff (every episode of that show involves a double cross - so before long everyone has wound up working for everybody else). Its very silly.

I've only watched half an episode of 24 and didn't like it much, perhaps if I rented the entire first season I might enjoy it.

But for me these days Dexter gets rid of Norris and Bauer easily! Dexter FTW!

Basically - all that happens is that Jack Bauer kicks down doors and shoots/stabs people. The people he doesn't kill get tied them up for torture (usually involving acid or electrical wiring torn from a lamp) - all the while screaming "Where is it!?" in an increasingly hysterical tone of voice.
