Hey Tav I went to a nice Mexican restaurant last night. Tex mex is one of my favorite food.

The waiter was definitely illegal but he works hard and seems like a good honest person; I respect that and reflect it in his $20 tip. Trust me, I can spot a crook a mile away.

Don't laugh but I don't go to any Chipotle that doesn't have Mexicans working in them. If they are black or white, somehow, it won't be as good. Further, they are tight asses on the portions.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

How reliable is it when it went flipping off the road in the first place?

Driver error notwithstanding...

Yup. More bad driver's drive Hondas than any other brand.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

That was always one of my favourites.

I have to ask you cleo. Have you ever watch BBC world vs BBC America. It's a shame we only receive BBC America here. God forbid we learn something about the rest of the world.

No, I don't watch BBC America. I would really like to watch UK domestic online, but they forbid that so I just listen to the radio and read online newspapers.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Fines are pretty f*cking expensive actually - you're looking at several hundred dollars a pop and points on your license. The difference between NJ and SoCal is that there are fewer cops on the highways in NJ.

Most of it though is due to people not really knowing how to drive - because the driving test isn't much of a challenge.

Aus and UK have nipped speeding in the '#######' by bombarding the cities with cameras.

First you have the random speeding cameras on the side of the road, which take photos of your speeding car. Fine is in the mail.

They also have time lapsed cameras on the highways. So if you get from point A to point C (and so on) in under x time. Fine is in the mail.

Then they also have the new age cameras that take a photo of you speeding and measure your speed, as most likely you speed up to run the red light. Both fines in the mail there too. If you are traveling fast enough, you receive a summons at the same time and have to mail your license in to their DMV.

How do I know about these? I've lost my license a number of times.

 Goddamn invasive repressive police states. I'm never visiting Australia again!

:bonk: You used the words 'nice' and 'Mexican' in the same sentence. You're slipping.....
