Can a person be denied a K1 for not knowing english????

NO!!!! BUT (OMG it is the butt-monkey which means all previous statements are BS)

They can deny for not having evidence of a genuine relationship of the type that leads to marriage, or even "not clearly eligible" which means if the person cannot speak English and you cannot speak their language then they may question the legitimacy of the relationship. They will never deny because "they do not speak English" Speaking English is not a requirement (the USA doesn't even have an official language) but you need to demonstrate a legitmate relationship.

If your evidence does not show that you and your fiance can communicate in a common language that is a red flag.

I was just curious because my love does not speal english very well but I am fluent in spanish. I read somehting earlier that someone was denied becasue their fiancee did not speak english. Freaked me out!!!

You are fine in that regard, you have a common language and can easily communicate in a legitimate relationship. People will post things like "He was denied because he did not speak English" or "He was denied because I am older than him" It never happened! NO ONE was ever denied because they did not speak English or the woman was older or there was a huge age gap...never happened. BUT they WERE denied because they could not overcome the "red flags" those things cause , particularly in high fraud countries. You have a common language, no problems there.
