Steve Ballmer, the Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft Corporation said that the company will move employees abroad if President Barack Obama enacts a higher tax on U.S. companies' foreign profits.

"It makes U.S. jobs more expensive," Ballmer said in an interview. "We're better off taking lots of people and moving them out of the U.S. as opposed to keeping them inside the U.S."

On May 4, Obama proposed outlawing or restricting about $190 billion in tax breaks for offshore companies over the next decade.

Ballmer also said that the proposal would reduce profits for companies that comprise the Dow Jones Industrial Average by between 10 and 15 percentage points.

Still hearing about anti-trust suits against MS plus unfair pricing policies, practically in every state of the union and in various countries. Some of these were settled in my state, but don't recall even getting a dime back. So wonder who is getting all that cash in these multi-million law suits. That puts one crime against the other.

Ha, recall getting something back with that lawsuit against Radio Shack dealing with lies about the screen size on their monitors, everyone lies about that. Hey, I needed a monitor way back when and it was the only store open, got the cheapest one they had, think it was a 13" that was more like a 10". So they sent me a coupon for the settlement, was good for any Radio Shack purchase for a 10% discount, but did not include any items on sale. That coupon hit the garbage can quick.
