Hello,

A Quick Question,

Back in 80's I was married to an American, I had a Green card, I did not apply for citizenship.

I moved back to Canada in 88'. They saw it in my wallet on one of my visits back and forth and took it back :crying:

Now my son is sponsoring me to move back to US, to be close to my grandchildren , and on the I130 application I stated my green card number.

My consolate meeting is coming up shortly, just wanted to know what to expect.

1) Does a green card get expired? Will they reissue me the same number?

I also have a SSI number. :innocent:

Thanks,

Thanks,

Your "A" number is your "A" number.... greencards do now expire... the did not before..

YMMV
