Doesn't she realize that she is in a cubicle and there is someone right next to her??

Drop references to the content of her phone calls. Most people get nervous when they know others are listening to their phone calls.

then say quiete la boca pinche puta. and see if that shuts her up...

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

:rofl::rofl:

heh. seriously though.. i cant stand loud talkers. We were just takling about this here at work. We have field staff that come in and they are practically yelling when they walk over to someones cube and talk to them. I can shut my office door and still hear 'em. I usually look right at them and then close the door. lol They arent my employees or i would tell them to take it down a notch as this is a business office not a friggin night club

I would tell her that you can hear everything she is saying and your afraid that someone on the other line(customers/clients or whatever) can also hear if you are on the phone.

No, she is definitely not my boss. But she does have an heir of superiority about her, which is also annoying. Her title and pay check are bigger than mine.

Will try to check out the flick you mentioned.

Really, i would just like to say, "Excuse me, can you please be quiet down a little?"

But you would be surprised how people can take offense to even that much!

Sounds like she's is just a ######. Tough sh!t I am afraid. Say something she will look at you like you just took a sh!t in your cubicle, don't say anything and you suffer being annoyed by her loud talking. The chocie is yours.

I myself work in a cube farm for a coporate big a@# company. When I have an issue with someone, I go to my manager and let her know. She can let them know in a round about way that they are being annoying. You know if you keep letting it "fester" if you will, it will eventually bust and turn into a giant mess...get blown way out of porportion. But I second Lisa...callate la boca pinche puta might work! Lol Or you could say Mira vieja loca si no bajas la voz te la voy a bajar!!!

Oh & you might find this funny...at my company we had a presentation from the "higher ups" to us cube-dwellers about "cube etiquette." You know they did friggin skits to show us what is not appropriate??? I liked the one about eating stinky food at your desk....our floor always smells like fish or cumin!

Yes, was thinking of that... might tell my boss and maybe he can make a suggestion....

That is so funny, we had a workshop on "Communication Skills" the higher-ups & the drones participated. None of the higher-ups thought there was a problem... surprise. :rolleyes:
