Hello...

I live in California and I had a free phone consultation with a lawyer named Richard Kolomejec about 2 years ago. You can find his information and phone number on Google.

I called his office, spoke to his secretary, and she put me through to him where he spoke to me on the phone for free for 20 minutes where I asked him all the questions I had written down on a piece of paper. To be honest, I think I was lucky to catch him at a time when he wasn't busy, and I think he felt sorry for me because I sound very young on the telephone. He did sound very knowledgeable and if I were to pick an immigration lawyer, it would be him. :)

Honestly, it is not that hard to find a lawyer to give a free CONSULTATION, as that is the "preview" they offer to try to get you to use their service.

^^ Because I can't edit my post (?) I wanted to add that when you have a free consultation, be wary of what the lawyer says because of course he will try to make everything sound easy and positive.

For example, the lawyer told me if I filed K-1 with his firm my fiance would be here in 3 months, which I did not believe even when he said it to me. However, he was very helpful & knowledgeable with specific examples of what I needed to do in terms of some possible problems with my case. For that reason I recommend him ;)
