Hello Everyone,

I got a question to ask and i need a help in this......... Recently i recieved a letter from NVC saying that i need to fill up a form I-864 but i couldn't do so because i was unemployed at that point of time but now i got a job as a mortagage consultant/office manager. My company has given me the job letter saying that i will be making average about $40,000 or more once i completed my training program. On the form I-864 they asked me abuot my individal annual income and i am not sure what my annual income will be and i dont know what to write on the form. I am very confused and i would appreciate if someone give me advice on this matter....

I want to add one more thing my most three recent income tax has been very low because i was attending school and i was working as a part time. I was concentrating more on my studies rather than working as a full time employee. I had applied for the last three income tax and my annual income was less than $5,000. I am afraid if i send them a copy of income tax and what if they rejected it saying that my income was very low. I dont know what to do.. I am very confsed. If someone had a same experience like me can give me some tips...

Guys i really need ur help do reply me as sooon as possible..... thanks a lot for reading this and i am looking forward to hear a reply from u all

Thanks!

Sorry i posted this before but no one has replied me back that's why i am posting it again.....

They only want the most recent tax return (2008) and I think the employment letter should suffice, however, I am not particularly knowledgeable in this area maybe someone else can help you. And maybe send in your latest pay stubs(3 should do).

You as petitioner will fill out an I-864 regardless of your income. If your income does not meet the requirements you will need to obtain someone to be a co-sponsor. They will also have to supply their information. Many people use a co-sponsor.

Read the I-864 instructions ( http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-864.pdf ) as well as the guides and example forms here on VJ to help you learn the requirements.

Also agree with "ANH MAP" . You have to fill out and send the I-864 form with your income taxes regardless of how low your income was at that time... But the letter of your new employer will also help, so I suggest for you to send that. Make copies of everything. Oh and I believe they do want the last 3 years of income taxes..

Good luck! :star:
