hello to all,

my wife and i have been issued a letter from USCIS to attend an interview for AOS. we were just curious if anyone knew what information we needed as far as proof of a medical exam. she is a K-1 visa holder and had a physical required by immigration before she could be approved for her K-1 Visa. she already submitted the physical to homeland security in order to enter the united states. do we need to have another physical done before the interview or will they even ask to see evidence of the physical exam, or is her K-1 Visa proof enough of one having been done? any help is much appreciated. thanks

typically not required if the foreign medical exam was less than 1 year old at the time of the filing of AOS (I-485). USCIS will occasionally misplace the exam results (it happened to us and a few others)... at which time we needed to get another... this however appears to be an exception rather than the rule

thanks alot, hopefully they didnt misplace ours. i guess if we need one they will tell us. but thanks once again

Were all her vaccinations listed as complete on her medical paperwork? If not, you may have to prove that she's now had them all.

thanks we will check into that.

She is required to file a I-693 from a USCIS Designated Civil Surgeon. Only needs the vaccinations tranfered from the DS 3025 to the I-693 by the DCS. No need the medical if less than 1 year from her immigration medical.

Some people "sometimes" get away with just submitting the DS 3025 or nothing at all.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!
