Found it when doing a google search to see what actions I could take to speed up my AOS - had already been waiting for over a year. I remember encountering the site a few other times while googling on immigration issues but didn't really check out the forums until I was very frustrated with the wait. Read the site for a bit and then joined. Would have greatly appreciated finding the site years earlier than we did - it would have made our long journey less stressful, but glad to be here now.

Wow... seems like most everyone is a Google fan. lol All I know, is VJ has been a gift. I'm so thankful we found the site too. Makes things SO much easier, instead of working with attorneys!!!!! :P

When it got serious with my man he asked his aunt (lawyer) about what we should do and then we decided to get married. I was not sure about the NAFTA work permit and well, we wanted to be together. I was looking into the French stuff available in Boston and I found the reference to VJ on Bienvenue à Boston, a website for francophones living in Boston. VJ is still the usual answer there when people ask about "how can I stay in the US now that I fell in love..."

(Bienvenue à Boston has a great directory of where to find good food in Boston though, and of things to do in French (job-school-activities...))

The aunt-lawyer was really impressed with my file, thanks to VJ!
