Where is my NOA1? How long does it take to recieve?

Me and my fiance have a lawyer he submitted our I129f on May 11, 2006 recieved date was on May 16th i thought it was supposed to take 30 days (business days) to get a response but nothing yet. It is at the CSC so i know we have a long wait but i don't think it should have taken this long just to recieve a NOA1 most posts that i have read here people are recieving them in about 1-3 weeks so i have no idea what's going on. I contacted my lawyer he has not recieved anything either. No point in calling immigration because they will not tell you anything, besides that is our lawyers job to do that. Also i would like to now some people's experience from CSC and how long the fiancee visa process takes. My fiancee is from Egypt so i expect a much longer wait helpful experience advice would be appreciated. I will keep you posted if anything changes thank you. And good luck to everyone i know all this waiting is agonizing pain but at least i know there are people out there who are going through the same and to me and my love its hard but in the end if he gets approved i know the wait is worth it. I have seen him in 5 months and we have been together for 1 year so i miss him alot. Good Luck!! to everyone we will all get through it.

6/15/2006----Recieved NOA1.

6/22/2006----Recieved RFE (IMBRA).

7/12/2006----Replied to RFE (IMBRA) Sent back.

7/17/2006----Our 1 year Anniversary!!!!

7/19/2006----VSC recieved RFE (IMBRA).

7/20/2006----touched

8/18/2006----touched

8/18/2006----NOA2!!!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!

8/18/2006----VSC sent our petition to NVC.

8/19/2006----touched

8/22/2006----NVC recieved our petition.

8/23/2006----NVC sent our petition to Cairo Embassy.

8/25/2006----Recieved NOA2 Approval letter in the mail.

8/28/2006----Recieved NVC letter with new case number.

8/31/2006----Cairo Embassy recieved our petition.

9/24/2006----I emailed the Embassy reguarding my fiance's packet 3.

10/17/2006--Cairo sent packet 3 for the second time to my fiance. First one was never recieved.

10/19/2006--Packet 3 recieved.

12/20/2006--Packet 3 sent.

12/21/2006--Cairo Embassy recieved packet 3.

2/21/2007---Packet 4 recieved.

3/12/2007---Interview (He Passed)!

3/12/2007---Administrative Processing begins.............God please help me get through this!

7/17/2007---Our 2 Year Anniversay!!!

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

Did you pay with a personal check? If so, can you get ahold of the check and find out if it's been cashed or not?

Did you remember that because of IMBRA everything is backed up everywhere. Also because you filed before the new form came out. You will probably receive an RFE (request for further evidence) which has the questions that are now on the new I-129F.

Don't hold your breath. It's going to take a while...

Hey grismar. Did you use the new I-129F form? I just noticed you sent yours in about 13 days or so before we sent in ours. Vermont must be fast! 11 days and waiting for anything from Nebraska. Our check hasn't even cashed yet.

Sept 12: Approved!! Should be getting card within 60 days..

Yep! I can relate to your situation. Sent my package June 10th and they received June 13th. I just checked my account online and they still have not cashed my check. I know that TSC probably sent my paperwork to CSC. I have resigned myself to the fact that this is going to take longer than I expected. I spoke with my fiance last night and she is looking forward to spending the Xmas holidays with me. At this rate, I don't think that is going to happen but I don't want to burst her bubble. I've already decided that if this thing drags on I will just have to get on a plane and spend some time with my lady in China. I just get the feeling that people who get here illegally get treated with more respect that those of us who are trying to do things the right way. Let's just try and hang in there. As much as they try and complicate this thing, they will never discourage me from doing what needs to be done. :thumbs::whistle:
