You think we are judging her for how she looks...but that's the thing...that's NOT how she would look if she hadn't artificially enhanced herself beyond what is "normal". She's so fake, it's beyond belief and then she straps a belt across her ginormous boobs and you think people aren't going to comment. It's the showing no taste whatsoever that brings the remarks. It isn't the fact that she's a celebrity. If you saw the average woman walking down the street dressed like this, would you not form some opinion at all?

I suppose we could put our amatuer shrink hats on and say that we should feel sorry for her, because her exhibitionism probably comes from a sorely lacking sense of self worth...but she just brings it on herself I think. She's never going change people's opinions about her until she presents herself like a real lady, which she is not doing. She's craving attention...and since she can't get it any other way, she's choosing this route...ah well.

as I said before, thank God for celebs so us normal ppl can take out our pent up frustration at being judged on looks, by judging others and continuing the cycle of putting someone else down to make us feel better...

You know, if this woman were fat & everyone was like 'omG what a tubby, what a bubble of lard, etc' I wonder how many ppl would be like 'hey you shouldn't be so judgemental & horrible..blah blah blah'

Furthermore, for those who fell in love on the internet....and the standard response is 'i fell in love for the person not what they looked like' well you should realize that mocking someone for their appearance is kinda crappy, cos it's more about what's inside than out, isn't it?

The answer is of course totally speculative, but I happen to think that since no one's holding a gun to her head & making her do what she does, she does what she does because she wants to.

But I'm going to reserve thinking I know what's going on in Jodie Marsh's head simply because I read part of an interview with her....dunno one way or another, don't really care either.

I think my point is being misconstrued here a bit. So many of these threads have popped up about celebs' looks...and I just find it oh so funny that ppl will flock to it like flies to raw meat just to all sit around and commiserate with either how ####### the celeb looks, or how airbrushed the pic is. If one doesn't like the society's way of always having this ####### in one's face...then fluck's sake, stop buying into the media bullshiznit. I couldnss 't give a chit less about Jodie or Britney or anyone else...they are fulfilling a role that obviously society needs (today's sexpot is tomorrow's pariah)...it's just the concept that I find so baffling.

It was expected that people would trash her, not because she's a celebrity, I didn't even know she was a celebrity, all I could see was enourmous fake boobies in a trashy outfit. I find that ridiculous. Yes, she's famous she can walk around naked and people will be like woohoo but when you dress like that (if you can call that clothes) you're asking for people's attention and with it comes their opinions. Yes she is pretty, but she is a fake pretty and she looks slutty to me, famous or not I'd say the same.
