DS-230. I only have to send 1 copy of this but it mentions "send part 1 only" not part 2 *( I'm confused should i send both parts i filled in ? e.g. part 1 & 2 ?)

Part 1 is pages 1 & 2. That's all you fill in. The rest (Part 2, pages 3 & 4) are for a different immigrant and do not apply to a K1.

I would suggest you make an extra copy of those DS forms just to keep at home for your records in case you need to look at them again (or heaven forbid your documents get lost) since they can't be saved on your computer.

Everything on the checklist is taken to the Embassy. Make photocopies of anything you want back...like your birth certificate, police certificate employer letter. They will verify the original and put the copy in your file, then give you the original back.

Some things you take are photcopies anyway...like the tax return and W2 so it doesn't matter if they keep those, as you have backups at home. The I-134 is probably saved on your fiance's computer, so no need to double copy that as she could crank out another one if needed.

Grand Rapids isn't far from here. I'm in northern indiana, Elkhart County (one of the highest unemployment rates in the country) things aren't great here at the moment but we're still hopeful.
