is anyone familiar with the thailand embassy ?

what questions might they ask at the interview?

the application is for an 129-f.

somewhere i had seen a list of questions that people were asked at interviews but it was a gathering of questions for different applications. my fiance is wondering if I should find out answers to these questions that neither of us know the answers to. so we can study.

i think we should just keep it "natural" and know what we already both "know".

thanks for your input.

Some of the recent experience of people who have been through Bangkok interviews is available if you scroll through the Sawasdee 3 thread.

Here is the experience of "Mommy" who just had her interview today. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...t&p=2928151

This is the Thailand wiki page

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Thailand

It's just a stub, and should be fleshed out. But it does have some links you may find helpful, particularly for Danny&Chada's checklist.

Oh - if you are currently trying to get an interview scheduled at BKK, you'll need a lot of patience.

We sent back our Packet 3 on April 3. The embassy records that it received in on April 8. As of today - May 14 - more than a month later, we are still waiting for our interview date adn Packet 4. Something is seriously hosed up there.

There is a Thai -language website (http://usvisa4thai.com) which offers a message forum similar to VJ, for Thai people going through the immigration process. Your fiance may find this helpful. My fiancee is quite active on that site, and according the "scoop" there, many people are still waiting to get their interviews scheduled dating back to March.

Good luck!

the application is for an 129-f.

The I-129F is a petition to determine eligibility to apply for a visa and not a visa application itself.

The I-129F results in a determination of eligibility to apply for either a K-1 fiance(e) or a K-3 spousal visa depending on circumstances... the types of question are more predicated on the type of visa being applied.

YMMV
