Documents Required for School Enrollment

With the school year in my country coming to an end can anyone please assist by posting a list of documents needed for school (Public/Private) enrollment in the USA (Kentucky). Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.

There is no standard you simply need to look to your local districts or private schools websites for the definitive answer... it varies by state & district and even public/prvate withing the district. Certainly proof of vaccinations.

If you are enrolling in college - then you need to look at SAT exam to meet high school equivalency requirements - again the best source will be the admissions office of the school/college/Univ. that you are interested in going to. If you are thinking of graduate school then you need to look at GRE or GMAT exams and the requirements are spelled out by the college/Univ.. Since you are coming on K1 - you will be a Legal Permanent Resident and be eligible for financial aid, however, in most states you will be considered non-resident and will have to pay higher (non-resident) tuition, unless you live here as a resident prior to enrolling in college - most states require one year of residency. By the way what does your fiancee do? He/She should have first hand knowledge to get all this info for you. Good Luck

Most school districts require proof of age (Birth Certificate), proof of residency (mortgage deed/rental agreement etc.), proof of immunizations or a letter stating that immunizations are not given for religious regions, most recent grades (report card or transcript)
