Mailing time for NOA2 from Vermont to Home address

So, I received notice that my NOA2 was approved and "sent out" on April 30th. As of Thursday, May 07 no NOA2. How long does the average NOA2 actually take to get delivered (Texas Resident). I would think it would only take 3-4 days. Its now been 8 days. Hmmm.

We are Looking forward to being married.

No way does it take "3 or 4 weeks" to mail a first class letter from Vermont to Texas!

Less than a week would be "normal".

Congratulations on your NOA2! Tim's and mine took one week from the time he got the email. He lives in SC. The letter will just state that the petition is approved and will be moving to the next stage. Ours said it would go to the consulate, but I knew it went to NVC first.

The USPS is unreliable. The USCIS sends the important NOA 2 via regular mail, because of this, or other factors, you may not receive your NOA 2. If this happens call the USCIS, explain to them that you didn't receive this paper, they will then tell you to send them 340$ and they will send you a replacement (via regular mail!)

Or yours will come in a few weeks.
