Seems like you are not interested in going back to your homecountry. Credit History may be a Primary issue in the US, and Although I have not lived in the US for that long, I do realize it, but then what the 360 million americans just realized in this recession is that its the very Credit History that got them trapped and now every other american is in debt. Exactly how the american Government functions. Keep them all under your clutches. If I were you, I would worry about the divorce and not about the car loans. I do feel sorry for you, but dont want to paint a rosy picture here too. Donot get deviated by all the posts above. I am not a practicing lawyer in the US, but have studied law. Let me tell you something. Unless you have proof of adultery, you CAN NOT prove it in the court. Women have twice as much rights in this country. Secondly, right or wrong, she has more rights than you, since she is the AMERICAN CITIZEN and you are NOT. Thats the truth. She has messed it up for you. Thats for sure. But God works in mysterious ways, Maybe theres something better in store for you, in your own country, among your own relatives and friends. I can tell you this that having gone through what you have said, you have lost the battle. She can very well accuse you of adultery and that will be the end of a marriage in good faith topic.

Having said that, Best of Luck.... My heart is all out for you.

I would go to your bank and talk with a credit person. You may be able to renegotiate the terms of the loan so that you can still keep it and pay. Most banks would rather not go through the expense of repossession.

Thank you baron,

Yes, repossession is an unpredictable and really bad alternative, it would most likely keep me in debt, spoil my credit, etc., I'm considering the alternative of short selling the car, for that I would also need to contact the bank, total madness but in the long run a better alternative.

I have a job interview in less than to weeks, FINALLY. I am doing everything to get the job, so I can get sponsored by an employer, I'm not religious but in these circumstances I am even praying too for it to work. It could be the beginning of the end of this terrible nightmare.
