Traveling with I-797C

Hi,

I have applied for I-751 Petition for removing condition on February,09.

I received the NOA I-797C and I did the biometrics. Now I am waiting for the Green Card approved.

Now I am worry because I have to travel overseas for work. I have to go to Europe.

Is it safe traveling with NOA I-797C and an expired Green Card?

Does anyone done before?

Thanks for your help, I am really worry and I need to travel if not I may lose my job.

Got a plastic wallet sized holder for that one year extension, don't want to either lose or damage it if you want to come back. Certainly awkward to carry. So why do we have to send in the I-751 in 90 days early, when they make you wait 14 months and two weeks to get your new card?

Actually, they would admit the OP anyways, after secondary inspection.
