Starting to get antsy

My wife's N-400 application was received on March 4th and she received her NOA1 on March 12th. Her case was transferred to NBC. We live in the Chicago area so I suppose the Chicago office will be where her interview is held.

What we're antsy about is that she has not yet received any further correspondence --- nothing in terms of biometrics. It seems that many others get this notification within a month, more or less, of the receipt of the NOA1. At what point should the "antsyness" turn into concern? Thanks and have a great weekend!

We live in the city. I received the NOAs within the time other did (about 2 weeks after I sent the application) but the notification for biometrics was way way later - about 2.5 months later (sent in mid november '08, got bio appointment late january '09). Hang in, or better yet, go for an InfoPass and inquire the immigration officer if there is something in the mail, like an RFE, and you don't know about it (do this if you are more than 30 days after the date of receipt printed on the NOAs). I did so, and a few days after the InfoPass i received the bio appointment letter. I don't know why the Chicago office is so busy in scheduling the bio appointments, cause they're not as busy at application support centers as they imply.
