hey guys ,

i would like to know from our VJ community i-751 filers, for tax papers do we have to obtain from IRS

TAX RETURN TRANSCRIPT (free)

and/or

TAX ACCOUNT TRANSCRIPT (free)

and/or

actual copy of a previously processed TAX RETURN ( $ 57/year)

let me know the appropriate and better papers to file

I would choOse the first one, Tax return transcripts 'free' from the IRS.

Is the Tax Account transcript sufficient? I mean it shows that 1) you filed 2)if you filed jointly with your spouse 3)how much your gross and taxable income was 4)if you owe the IRS anything. What else is needed besides that info.

I filed using Tax Account transcipts and got approved. I chose to use the Account transcripts because it shows the filing status, income, and address (all USCIS needs to know for adjudicating the case) on one page.

I just ordered the Tax Return Transcript (free) for 3 years. I just followed the prompts at 1-800-829-1040. Option #2, information about your account, and then you will choose "tax return transcript". They let you type in the years in succession.

The local IRS office is 1 block from where i work so I just popped in on my lunch break and it took 5 minutes. I got the tax account transcripts as they are 1 or 2 pages. I saw on here somewhere people compiling 50-300 pages of documentation for removing conditions! #######. I'll send about 30 pages at the absolute maximum (using tax transcripts cuts down what the AO has to sift through).
