HELP!!!!

My interview is tomorrow and I cant find the checklist that was sent of items that I need to take.

I think I have everything in order, but I want to make sure.

I sure there is a link here on VJ, but I havent been able to find it.

the list is found in the letter from USCIS (appointment letter), you should have it. the officer will ask for the letter on your interview too and the guard won't let you in inside the building if you don't have the appointment letter,

I think everybody is pretty different. But basically:

- everything you sent in a "copy" format they'll want to see originals (birth certificates, marriage certificate, etc.) if you sent originals then bring a copy so they can return your original;

- W2s and 2008 tax return;

- letter from employers for you and spouse stating terms of employment (salary, hours per week, job title, etc.);

- pictures, letters you wrote each other;

- joint papers (bank, credit card, health insurance, auto insurance, bills, etc.) to prove a bona fide relationship;

- anything they sent you such as AP, EAD, other documents including the interview letter.

  • *Interview notice and your government issues photo id

*A completed medical examination form (i-693) and vaccination suppement in sealed envelope unless already submitted.

*A completed affidavit of support (i-864) with all required evidence, including the following for each of your sponsors unless alreay submitted:

-Federal income tax returns and w-2s or certified IRS printouts for the most recent year.

-Letters from each current employer, verifying current rate of pay, and average weekly hours, and pay stubs for the last 2 months.

-Evidence of your sponsor's and co-sponsor's us citizenship or perm residence.

*All documentation establishing your eligibility for lawful perm residence status.

*Any immigration document ever issued to you, including EAD and AP.

*All travel documents used to enter the US, including passports, AP and I-94s.

*Your birth certificate.

*Your petitioner's birth certificate and their evidence of US Citzeship or LPR status.

*If you have children, bring the birth certificate of each of your children.

*If your eligibility is based on your marriage, in addition to your spouse coming to the interview with you, bring:

-A certified copy of your marriage document issued by the appropriate civil authority.

-Your spouse's birth certificate, and evidence of US Citizen or LPR status.

-If either you or your spouse were married before, all divorce decrees and/or death decrees for all former spouses.

-Birth certificates for all children of this marriage, and custody papers for your children and your spouse's children not living with you.

*Supporting evidence of your relationship such as copies of any documentation regarding joint assets or liabilities you and your spose may have together. This may include tax returns, bank statements, insurance documents (car, life, health), property documents, (car , house, etc) rental agreements, utility bills, credit cards, contracts, leases, photos, correspondence, and/or any other documents you feel may substantiate your relationship.

*Original and copy of each supporting document that you submitted with your application.

If you have ever been arrested, bring the related police report and the original final court disposition for each arrest, even if the charges have been dismissed or expunged. If no court record is available, bring a letter from the court with jurisdiction indicating this.

*A certified English translation for each foreign language document. The translator must certify that he/she is fluent in both languages, and that the translation in its entirety is complete and accurate.
