How do you find out your interview date before you receive the e-mail letter? Do you contact your local embassy or NVC?

10-21-2013 - Sent to another office
10-23-2013 - Sent to NSC (60 days the most to approval) (praying)
11-13-2013 - NOA2. Approved!!!!!!??????

11-19-2013 - NOA2 hardcopy receved

NVC
11-18-2013 - Shipped to NVC

12-09-2013 - Received by NVC

12-23-2013 - Entered in system

01-07-2014 - DS-261 completed online

01-08-2014 - AOS paid

01-16-2014 - Expedite service requested

01-19-2014 - Paid IV bill

01-23-2014 - NVC requested phone number for applicant to complete expedite request

01-23-2014 - IV paid

01-30-2014 - Expedite request approved (awaiting email instructions)

02-03-2014 - Expedite approval received in the mail

02-04-2014 - AOS and IV package sent to supervisor (MIL's sent for regular processing)

02-06-2014 - Package received and signed for at NVC

02-10-2014 - Called NVC and was told I-864A not signed by me

02-12-2014 - Signed I-864A sent

Check the embassy website - if you have your NVC number, they may have it listed in "upcoming appointments" (if they have that :))

You can always email them (they prefer that it seems)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Wow KK you and I have the same answer for this question. :P

Although she is a CR1 and things are different for her. I think she would call the NVC to see if her case is complete and if the embassy has set an interview date. Her case was complete 4/17 and it usually takes the embassy a coupld of months to schedule an interview.

call nvc 5 days after your case had completed, and they will schedule your interview date in 2 months or early. You have to call NVC almost everyday to find out your status for interview dates. Good luck.

I did call yesterday (4/20) and my case was completed on 4/13. Still got same answer, call back in mid May.

I did call yesterday (4/20) and my case was completed on 4/13. Still got same answer, call back in mid May.

In your case, try to call 1st or 2 nd week of May. I am sure you will hear some good news. Good luck, I called my everyday, even they saying call back, call back.
