I sent in my I-485 packet of information to get green card in Sept. 2008 along with the I-765. Its now end of April and no word from USCIS at all. They requested Additional evidence in January of 09 because my husband had filed his 07 return late so he had only included 06 tax return. We resubmitted the request for additional evidence and they said it was fine. We have called many times and we have not recieved any feedback as to why there is such a delay. Is it possible that because my husband has taxes that he owes to the IRS is the reason for the delay. Please respond with any ideas or information you have.
