Just got NVC stuff

Cool... Moving along... It seems.

I paid the AOS fee online, just a few minutes ago. The package I got included a DS-3032 form, which the wife will have to complete and send in... But I didn't get anything with a I-864.

Is that something that will come later?

2009-02-26 : I-130 Sent

2009-03-12 : Check cashed

2009-03-12 : I-130 NOA1

2009-03-25 : NOA2 (I-130 Approved)

2009-04-14 : NVC Received

2009-04-18 : Received DS-3032

2009-04-18 : Pay AOS Fee Online

xxxx-xx-xx : Receive I-864 Package

xxxx-xx-xx : Return Completed I-864

xxxx-xx-xx : Return Completed DS-3032

xxxx-xx-xx : Receive IV Bill

xxxx-xx-xx : Pay IV Bill

xxxx-xx-xx : Receive Instruction Package

Is that something that will come later?

as long as u paid the AOS ..wait till it show PAID online

then print that cover sheet to show ur payment

include it in the AOS package that u prepared (I-864...pay stubs ...tax transcriptes for last recent 3 years OR (tax returns +W2 for the last 3 years )...employment letter show ur title and the day u were hired

..and send it at once to NVC ...JUST WAIT TILL IT SHOW PAID

u can read guides above abot NVC process

no need to wait for papers from NVC ...

So.. If I check the site Tuesday, it should show PAID...

Then print out I-864 stuff...

-Fill out the I-864 form

-Put together a package with my last three tax returns (I don't know if I can find ALL of my 1099's/W2's)

-A letter from my current employer saying I started at such and such and this my title (Just from one of my bosses?)

-Send with receipt saying paid...

And this can be done before my wife sends back the DS3032?

the DS-3032 is not related to the AOS package ..DS-3032 used for the generation of the IV package (the immigration visa )

is this true that you can send the DS-230 package even before they generate the IV fee bill or accept the DS3032???

August 14, 2006- I-130 Sent

September 22, 2008- NOA 1 Received

September 17, 2008- Became a USC

September 18, 2008- Upgraded I-130

March 20, 2009 - NOA2 (email)

March 25, 2009- NOA2 (hardcopy Received)

NVC

April 3, 2009 - Case Number Assigned

June 5, 2009 CASE COMPLETED AT NVC

June 9, 2009 Interview Date Assigned

July 16, 2009 Interview AP

August 24, 2009 DOS Operator said "VISA HAS BEEN ISSUED TODAY" Alhamdulillah

August 26, 2009 call from embassy to PICK UP THE PASSPORT :-)

August 27, 2009 Picked up the passport... woohooo!!!

September 9, 2009 US Entry InshaAllah

October 13, 2009 SSN and green card in mail DONE WITH USCIS until husband applies for his citizenship!!

The journey of 4 years, 8 months, and 3 weeks has ended!!!

is this true that you can send the DS-230 package even before they generate the IV fee bill or accept the DS3032???

NO

DS-3032 must be generated first

then sent to NVC by mail or EMAIL ..when accepted ..then the IV is generated and can be PAID
