 I've seen in other posts people looking up to find out if their packet has been touched. How/where do I go to see if ours has been? And also we were a bit unclear when my husband will get approval to move to the US, is it when the I-130 or I-129F is approved? Or when the whole thing is over? Thanks!

each petition results in a different visa eligibility... at a minimum at least one petition needs to be approved

YMMV

A touch can be seen on the USCIS website after entering your receipt number in the "case status online" section or after you register on the USCIS website and request that an email be sent to you whenever there is "activity" or change on the status of your case. Sometimes it is a RFE and other times it is information regarding your case. This involves someone physically handling your file. The activity is called a touch.

You have to request access at USCIS website and you can see if your case has been touched.

And also we were a bit unclear when my husband will get approval to move to the US, is it when the I-130 or I-129F is approved? Or when the whole thing is over?

When the whole thing is over.

Okay, thanks everyone for the info! I signed up at the USCIS for what I think you were all talking about, but it won't let me check status until I get a receipt number. I called USCIS and they won't tell me the receipt number, said to call back in 30 days if we don't get a receipt. So I guess we wait. We're too impatient I guess LOL Thanks everyone, wishing you all the best of luck in your respective journies!!
