hi there everybody!

We're filling the AOS finally!

But we have a concern about the question 21-C on the affidavit: "If you are currently married, enter 1 for your spouse" while, in the very beginning of the question 21 "Person you are sponsoring in this affidavit" that's going to be 1 of course. "Person NOT sponsored in this affidavit" 1 because, of course, it's me US Citizen. So 1+1+1 the Household size is going to be 3, but we're just 2!

Can someone please clear this step for me?

06/20/2011 - I-751 Package sent to VSC. Certified Mail.

06/22/2011 - VSC Received the package

06/23/2011 - NOA Receipt Date

06/27/2011 - NOA Arrived in the Mail

06/27/2011 - Check is cleared

07/15/2011 - Biometrics Appointment Letter in the Mail

08/10/2011 - Biometrics Appointment

03/05/2012 - Approved

03/08/2012 - Green Card has been mailed out to me

03/10/2012 - 10y Green Card Received

21 c is asking for persons NOT being sponsored. Your spouse is being sponsored and would not be included on 21c.

This is an all purpose form that is why it gives the reminder to not count anyone twice.

The affdavit is used for many types of visas, so not all the questions make perfect sense for a K-1 or K-3 adjustment. Don't worry. You are not listing any other people (children) so they know it is just two. You have to answer the question truthfully.

I put 00 in that box, so I don't count either of us twice. Hope that was right, becaue we already sent everything out yesterday. No going back now. :clock:
