Hmm maybe I will sleep today, I have today,W and Th off. My mom wants me to clean out the attic and I can tell you that it's not gonna happen. I will stay up now to get my daughter off to school and then I will call an ad in the paper for another part time job, hopefully 11-7 since I seem to stay up anyway I would prefer to be weird and get paid for it.

My husband is waiting for a doctor to look at his previous MRI results of his hip because he has pain in his hip... so I'm waiting for him to call me about that and he's working until 5pm Jordan time. Soooo

Morning Girls ;) .... It will be just another regular ole Egyptian day for me... I will clean the apartment, wash the clothes, cook dinner, hang out online, and watch tv.....

Hubby doesn't go to work until 5 or 6 pm ( he's sleeping now.. its 12pm here in Egypt) once he wakes up, I will make him something to eat, help him with his clothes... kiss him bye, and he will be off... he comes home about 2 or 3 am.. we eat , watch tv, hang out together.. and once he cant hold his eyes open anymore, which is about 11am or so the next morning... we go to sleep...but usually I sleep while hes at work overnight. so Im up all day.

This is my life here in Egypt lol.... I wish that I had more freedom here though.. I wish I could go to the grocery store, or go out clothes shopping, just do the things I used to do in USA... drive a car...

but because of not speaking arabic fluently and other things I think, like jealousy.. I can't venture outside without my husband. so needless to say... I have my nice little quiet life here, behind these 4 walls, day after day after day :(

granted, I am happy to be here with my husband... I know that many of u guys r in USA, and wishing so much to be with the ones u love, and oh, I totally relate, and understand... but even thou Im with him, I miss so much of MYYYYYYYYY life ...

he is my life now pretty much, I have given up my life for him.. dont mean to make it sound so dramatic... lol... but ...

what is.. is... and this is what it is...

I can't wait to get back to USA and get a job, drive again, go to the grocery store , do all the little things , that I guess I used to take for granted as being an American.. just to breathe the air again there would be so great for me now!

but all in all, Life is good ;)

So I didn't sleep yet and instead started working on today's projects.

On the agenda today:

Study abroad stuff

ASL stuff

Audio Production Stuff

One thing down.

Jillai what part of Egypt are you in? When I am there we can go out if you are in Cairo. I'm not letting language or Hubby stop me from having adventures! Ha! We talked about it and he said as soon as I know my way around I could have at it. :P Of course we're both having cell phones to stay in contact for the just in case.

Oh Jillai girl, I totally ventured away by myself in Jordan, granted I was nervous and I did do it purposefully to irritate my husband :) but well I was pretty miserable after a month with no freedoms. Anyway, I totally feel for you.

and 4Long I'm glad I'm not the only freak who doesn't sleep :) And you are far more motivated than me, so far I've made 28k bells on animal crossing (video game for wii) :)

Mornin' Ronell I keep telling myself "april showers bring may flowers, and my husband inshallah" :)

Jill---you sound like my husband but he is here! He made a comment the other day about he just came home from what he calls Disneyland (Egypt) to stare at 4 boring walls! The comment hurt my feelings but what can I do or say??? Best wishes and I hope that soon you will be able to venture out a little more and get some independence.

Good Moaning. The sky is gray today....maybe I will just do some housework and stay on VJ. I dont feel much like anything. I dont want Saturday to come. :crying:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Good Morning!

I'm already doing laundry with my new washer and dryer! (omg omg omg! :)) It's raining a lot here in Ohio (just incase you didn't believe it the first time it was mentioned in this thread lol).

Here's my schedule:

Work 10:30 -3ish (I'm a server)

Home 3ish-7

Grocery shopping after Tarik gets home

I'm hoping to get everything else in my home packed away. The Laundry was taking up so much space. So I hope I can get all of that done today and maybe put some pictures up. I wish I would get my tax return already so I can buy curtains! lol The walls look so naked! We painted my living room purple. It's pretty crazy but I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEEE IT!

I tried to upload a picture but they're too big and I don't know how to resize them on my Mac. Grrrrr.
