First off, I work part time in most cases and my "annual income" varies. I get paid by the day as a substitute teacher, but the number of days I work a month varies. Also, last year I was working retail mostly getting paid minimum wage. Should I just put my (very small) income from last year? (Yes I have a co-sponsor).

The "I own real estate values at:" can that just be the estimated value of our house? I assumed because the mortgage question is right after.

I'm heard bank letters and employer letters are no longer needed. This confuses me as they are in the instructions of the form which seems was recently updated.

I don't have every single pay stub from last year, but my mom (co-sponsor) does. Will it be a problem for me?

LASTLY, does the I-134 need to be notorized? I noticed there's no real area for a notary to sign and stamp.

My head hurts :(

new I-134 does not need to be notarized.

employer letter(s) should be submitted along with pay stubs.

you don't need all your pay stubs. the last couple of months should be fine

bank letters aren't typically needed. though they are easy to get in most cases.

home value is just that: the market value.

I-134 is a transitional form and often isn't given as much weight as the I-864. It "expires" at AOS when the I-864 is submitted. Most folks just provide proof of income and do not go into stocks, real estate, insurance policies, etc.

IMO, if you prepare the I-134 as if it were the I-864 you will be in great shape for the K visa and ahead of the game for AOS.

Do a calculation for current annual income. Here is how. If you are doing this today...add up all your income for year to date, divide by total number of weeks year to date, multiply by 52. That is your current annual income. Yes, attach last year's tax return, do not worry about it, it is what it is. You have a co-sponsor so no problem.

No. If you use assets you would have to have a professional appraisal and statements from the mortgage compnay to calculate current equity. Also a primary home is not always acceptable as an "asset" as it must be something you can liquidate (sell) within 12 months without harm to the family. You have to replace a primary home. At any rate, with a co-sponsor, using assets is not a can of worms you need to open.

Bank letters have alwasys been optional. Employment letters are still desired. Remember, nothing in the I-134 (not even the I-134 itself) is "required. You must satisfy the consulate your fiance will not become a public charge, the I-134 is a universally accepted form to demonstrate that, but not "required"

Usually a couple months along with your employment letter is sufficient.

The new I-134 does not have to be notarized.
