When USCIS forgets to include child in I-751

So it appears that CSC overlooked our daughter on the I-751 form, and did not issue her a green card renewal. I would like to know, with all specifics, of other people in this situation. What exactly did you do? What worked and what didn't?

I cannot open a infopass appointment, since officially, not enough time has passed. However, my wife has recieved all her documents, and we recieved nothing concerning our daughter.

I have looked over my copy of the I-751 package I sent, and I can find nothing wrong with what I sent them. Our daughter is clearly listed in all documents.

Did your daughter receive a NOA extending her GC by one year?

Did she have her biometrics done?

We are still waiting, but my wife and my daughter received their NOA and Biometrics at different times. See signature below. Maybe she will get it within the next few weeks.

Thank you for the reply. I have heard of cases like yours were it takes 20 days or so, but we are closing in on 40 days. My wife is done.

Unfortunatly, I do not have the luxury of waiting too long. There is the issue of her becoming 'illegal' and also the issue of travel.

I'm not looking for approval of any sort, I just want the reciept, and the 1 year extension.

I believe it is time to call the mis-information line - you are past one month to receive NOA1 for the child. Get them to do a service request and also write down that number.

If nothing happens for another month - congressman time.

I would suggest if you don't get the NOA close to end of this month then you should make an infopass appoinntment which is 45 days after you filed. At the infopass tell them that your daughter hasn't received the NOA and you would like to have her passport stamped with I-551 (which is extension of GC for 1 year, 1 year added to date her GC expires e.g 04/01/09 extened to 04/01/10).

Talking to congressman or senator wont help as you just submitted application and it's not out of the processing time.

This is the letter your daughter should recive. It too about a extra week to get in the mail.
