I just talked to an operator (the same rude one that I talked to yesterday, Cassey?). She was bit nice today.. I asked her if it would cause a problem since I had put my husband's name there. She said she does not think it will cause a problem. I'll call back again in evening just to confirm with another operator.

@KeralianNY - I think you should leave it blank since Serendipity_ got their approved even when it was left blank.

2009-02-20 : Traveled 2 India to correct the RFE issue

2009-03-02 : Mailed the corrected RFE Docs to USCIS

2009-03-04 : Received confirmation via email from USCIS that they received the RFE documents. CASE RESUMED

2009-04-02 : NOA2 Approved for I-129F and I-130 via email

On I864 Form, i am not sure what to put for question #24 E

"The person listed above, ----------------- Does not need to complete Form I-864A because he/she is the intending immigrant and has no accompanying dependents."

I am only doing this affidavit application for my spouse, so my question is should i be putting her name or leave that field blank? And also, i wont be using any one else's income.

The name of your spouse goes there. I filled out and submitted one for my wife in September 08. We have got no RFEs so far. The process is a breeze when you read and follow the instructions carefully. We recently received her 2 year conditional green card. Good luck on your journey.

Hey champi, that's good news! I also think that won't cause you any problem.

Today I got an email with that false RFE, saying they are waiting for my DS-230. Hopefully it wont take too long anymore till they have my case complete.

Or a real RFE, which I really dont want!!

04/08/09 - DS-230 Packet delivered at NVC ( I don't know why that long it was stuck at Customs for like 2 weeks!!!)

04/10/09 - DS 230 entered into the system, probably under review now.

04/13/09 - AVR says "The NVC has received the checklist letter response on April 10th"

04/20/09 - Case Completed at NVC

04/24/09 - Got e-mail with the appointment letter

Consular Process

05/26/09 - Medical Exam

06/03/09 - Interview Date!!!! PASSED!!

06/06/09 - Received passport and the Big Brown Envelope

06/24/09 - POE
