I think it is an odd thing to envy, those who are on welfare. It's not fun, end of. Of course it behoves the government to demand a reasonable level of compliance to the rules of their programs and that should be done and journalists have even a duty to seek out stories that might lead one to believe that there is gross abuse. Generally speaking though, it turns out that for the most part, those on benefit are genuinely in distress and there is a tiny minority of people who are there because they are too lazy to be anywhere else. The desire to live in such strained circumstances denotes a certain lack in the mentality to me, but whether that is a condition or what have you I don't know.

total agreement...i have worked with man y families and individuals on the doles..and i would not trade life-styles with them for a day

It's a shame that family is allowed to abuse the system. Those young girls should be able to work somewhere, but sadly they have learned by example.

i can t work, i have a very small pinky and hum it s actually half the size it should be, and it makes me depressed and and i can t use my hands , so yea i just can t work , it s not my fault my parents gave me such a small pinky....plus i need extra money for custom made gloves and hand lotion.

I'm sorry, I have no sympathy for any of them. To say they are to fat to work is a joke. To say they are to fat to exercise is a joke. Let me tell you something, I hurt my back a while back. A MRI verified a herniated disc and degenerative arthritis. Two weeks ago I weighed 270 lb. I decided that I didn't want to spiral down to disability so I am taking action. So far I have lost 10 pounds and work out every day. On nice days Luz and I walk at least an hour. Already my back feels better and I am working a strenuous job without a day missed. These people are just milking a system that was designed to help those that can't help themselves. They are thieves IMO.
